Kenneth Faried may or may not Dunk a Bowling Ball at Slam Dunk Contest

With the 2013 NBA All-Star game fast approaching, contestants in the weekend’s various events will begin discussing what they have planned. Denver Nuggets forward Kenneth Faried brings up an interest idea — dunking a bowling ball.

Faried has mentioned that idea before, and added, “I thought about that, but I haven’t practiced it or anything. I really don’t know if I’m going to do it or not. I don’t want to end up injured from a dunk contest.” After speaking to the Denver PostFaried seemed more interested in the Nuggets’ two upcoming road games than preparing for the upcoming Slam Dunk Contest.

Faried joins LeBron James, James White, Jeremy Evans, Terrance Ross, Eric Bledsoe, and Gerald Green as contestants for the contest. After some of the dunks I’ve seen Ross throw down on my Magic this year, he will be the player I watch to win this thing. According to Las Vegas sports betting website, Bodog, White has the best odds to win, 5/4.

I will also have an eye on Faried; maybe if he wins he’ll cuss on live TV like he did after the Nuggets’ win over the Magic.
